In some cases, Muhammad and Aisha's relationship is used to effectively "turn back the clock" by legalizing child marriages in places they were previously illegal. For example; in 2010, the Malaysian State of southern Malacca legalized child marriages specifically between adult Muslim men and young Muslim girls ''below'' the age of 16. Ivy Josiah, the executive director of the ''Women's Aid Organisation'', noted "Child marriage amounts to paedophilia ... It is really a regressive move. The Islamic texts themselves specifically destroy any appeals to cultural relativism that could be otherwise aimed at Muhammad's marriage. In Sahih Bukhari, Muhammad claimed it was Allah's will (through a dream)<ref>"''....You were shown to me twice (in my dream) before I married you. I saw an angel carrying you in a silken piece of cloth, and I said to him, 'Uncover (her),' and behold, it was you. Мухаммад не е имал полово сношение с Аиша, когато тя е била на 6 години

Това е аргумент с логическа грешка. Никой никъде не е твърдял, че Мухаммад е имал полово сношение с Аиша, когато тя е била 6-годишна. Единствено бракът им се е състоял, когато тя е била на 6. Коранът не е биография на Мухаммад. По име той е споменат само четири пъти в Корана.[1]Коранът не е исторически разказ и без хадисите и Сирата (които са приети от мнозинството мюсюлмани по света и от ислямските учени) нямаше да ги има Петте стълба, а ислямът, такъв какъвто е познат на мюсюлманите, щеше да бъде неразпознаваем и щеше да има малко[2], ако не и никакви, исторически доказателства, че е съществувала някога личност, позната като Пророка Мухаммад. Поради тази причина те не могат да бъдат пренебрегнати. Освен това самият Коран позволява педофилията в стих 65:4.[3]

Няма смисъл от един ислямски брак (никях), ако няма секс между двойката. Ако 54-годишният Мухаммад не е искал да прави секс с 9-годишната Аиша, но е искал само да я задържи в дома си, то той лесно би могъл да я осинови като внучка. Той вече е имал един осиновен син.

И ако трябваше да приемем този брак като резултат от предсказанието на Аллах, това все още не може да обясни защо Той не може да предвиди, че милиони момичета днес ще трябва да претърпят педофилски бракове с деца, които директно използват отношенията между Мухаммад и Аиша като оправдание.[4][5][6][7][8]

А слабите хадиси нямат авторитет в исляма и нямат ценност за целта на шариата.[11] Понеже тези, които използват този хадис с апологетична цел, знаят за неговия статус като слаб,[12] изпускането на този изключително важен детайл може да бъде сметнато като недобросъвестно.

Освен това хадисите, които потвърждават, че Аиша е консумирала брака си са „мутауатир“ (потвърдени), което означава, че същите разкази (с малки вариации в словореда) са предадени от различни иснади (вериги).

Когато същият/подобен разказ е предаден от множество иснади, тогава той придобива по-висока автентичност от такъв, който може да бъде съобщен от по-малък брой иснади (особено ако си противоречат). Тази класификация може да бъде комбинирана с други класификации; например, ако един разказ е едновременно и „сахих“, и „мутауатир“, тогава той притежава най-високата степен на автентичност според класификацията на хадисите.

Понеже всички най-автентични колекции потвърждават, че отношенията между Мухаммад и Аиша са били сексуални, този единствен, слаб хадис може да бъде пренебрегнат.

Идеята, че Аиша е била девица през целия си живот е чужда на исляма, и ако трябваше да сме „опърничави“ и/или недобросъвестни както се показват апологетите, можехме просто да посочим, речено буквално, че не е необходимо да се „виждат интимните части“ на някого, за да се прави секс с него.

Съществуват и хадиси, които ни казват, че Мухаммад е правил секс с всички (между 9 и 11) свои съпруги в една нош,[13][14] а Сауда (която била дебела)[15] отстъпила нощта си за секс на Аиша.[16] Трябва ли да повярваме, че той всъщност не е правил секс с тях, а им е четял приказки или ги е занимавал с някаква друга нощна работа?

Има също така и хадиси, които ни казват, че първата среща на Мухаммад с Аиша след нейното приемане в дома му я „изненадала“,[17] че тя изчистила и изстъргала спермата от дрехите си,[18][19] и че той я е галил еротично и е засмукал езика ѝ.[20][21]

Всички автентични източници на собствените свидетелства на Аиша потвърждават, че тя е била на 9 години по онова време. Тези алтернативни стойности на възрастта ѝ произлизат от погрешно цитиране, косвени източници, неясни техники за датиране и клевети в опит да се хвърли съмнение върху фактите, които са безусловно приети от мюсюлманите вече в течение на почти 1500 години.

Дори и днес огромното мнозинство от мюсюлманския свят признава и приема ранната възраст на Аиша, а мнозина от тези честни мюсюлмани възприемат като обида лъжите, пропагандирани от западни мюсюлмански апологети, които се срамуват от делата на собствения си пророк. Всъщност на сайтовете Sunnipath.com и Livingislam.org са поместени трудовете на ислямския учен и учител по ислямско право Шейх Джибрил Хаддад, на които ние сме се позовали при отхвърлянето на тези трудове, което можете да прочетете тук.

Мухаммад е чакал три години, за да може Аиша да достигне пубертет и да прави секс с нея

Играта с кукли и подобните им изображения е забранена в исляма, освен ако не сте дете, което още не е достигнало възрастта на пубертета.[22][23] Следователно приложената екзегеза на играта с кукли към съответните хадиси доказва, че Аиша си е останала полово незряла по време на консумирането си.

Това е едно чисто пожелателно мислене, което е с абсолютен обратен ефект, защото приема, че Мухаммад, съвършеният мюсюлманин, чиито пример трябва да се следва, е обидил Аллах, като не е спазил Неговия свещен закон (Шариата).

Освен ако Аллах ясно не е постановил изключение за Мухаммад, той би трябвало да следва правилата за играта с кукли в исляма. В противен случай това просто означава, че Мухаммад е лицемер и лош пример за следване от мюсюлманите.

При горещ климат менструацията започва по-рано отколкото при студен, следователно момичетата в Арабия са съзрявали още на 9 години

Не съществуват абсолютно никакви доказателства, че климатът има нещо общо с началото на менструацията/пубертета.[24][25] В много случаи истината е точно обратната на това, което апологетите казват. Например средната възраст при първа менструация за Дания, Финландия и Великобритания е съответно 13.0, 13.2 и 13.3 години. За сравнение средната възраст при първа менструация за Сенегал, Танзания и Йемен е съответно 16.1, 15.21 и 14.4 години.[24]

За момичетата от 5ти до 15ти век в Средния Изток, средната възраст при менструация е между 12 и 13 години, а не 9. Всъщност, средната възраст на менструация за средновековните европейци е много подобна, на възраст от 12 до 14 години.[26]

В един хадис Аиша казва, че „Когато едно момиче е 9-годишно, то е жена (т.е. достигнало е пубертет)"

Ако трябва да приемем това тълкувание на апологетите, то би означавало, че Аиша също е направила неправилно и повърхностно твърдение. Не са много момичетата, които започват пубертет на 9 години, особено в Близкия Изток по времето на Аиша,[26] но въпреки това изглежда, че според нея всички 9-годишни момичета започват пубертет. Следователно единственото заключение, което можем да извлечем от това погрешно тълкуване е, че тази „велика учителка на исляма“ е била глупава..

Ако предприемем един рационален подход за достигане до заключения, можем ясно да видим, че въпросният разказ не доказва, че Аиша е достигнала пубертет. Тя е достигнала пубертет е написано в скоби, което означава, че е добавено от преводача и не е взето от оригиналния източник.

Освен това, тя е била малко дете, което е било сексуално обезчестено на 9-годишна възраст, ето защо е очевидно, че тя е смятала този момент във времето като момента, когато тя е престанала да бъде дете и е станала жена. Нейното твърдение няма нищо общо с достигането на пубертет.

Защо Мухаммад е чакал три години, освен ако не е трябвало Аиша да достигне пубертет?

Според Бухари, Аиша се разболяла и изгубила косата си след брака си/сгодяването си за Мухаммад на 6-годишна възраст. Същият хадис потвърждава и че тя му е била предадена, щом косата ѝ пораснала отново.[27] Понеже Бухари е сахих (автентичен), нямаме никакво основание да пренебрегваме това обяснение.

Освен това според Ал Табари (по-малко надежден, но въпреки това високо уважаван и приет източник сред мюсюлманите), отсрочката се е дължала на факта, че Мухаммад е нямал златото за плащане на садак (зестра)[28]

В едно нещо можем да бъдем сигурни – отсрочката е нямало нищо общо с нейното състояние на полова зрялост, понеже един такъв важен въпрос нямаше да бъде оставен без коментар от ранните ислямски източници, а също така би противоречало на Мухаммадовото коранично откровение, което не санкционира (позволява) педофилията.

Ако Мухаммад е бил педофил, той не би чакал три години, за да прави секс с Аиша

Нещо обичайно за един педофил е да познава детето-обект на своите желания от няколко години, преди да инициира сексуален контакт. Това е известно като „подготовка“. Проучване на клиниката Майо показва, че хетеросексуалните мъжки педофили предпочитат момичета на възраст между 8 и 10 години (Аиша е била на 9) и често са се срещали с тях, когато са били по-малки.[29]

Освен това, ако вземем предвид обяснението на Бухари, то е напълно смислено. Един педофил не би искал да прави секс с болно дете, ако си мисли, че така ще се зарази с някаква болест от него.

Ако Мухаммад е бил педофил, родителите на Аиша не биха му я предложили

Родителите на Аиша не са я предложили на Мухаммад. Всъщност именно Мухаммад е потърсил Абу Бакр и той (бащата на Аиша) първоначално се е възпротивил.[30]

Дори днес не е необичайно за членовете на някакъв култ да предоставят малките си деца на своя лидер с цел брак и сексуални злоупотреби.[31] Ето защо дори и ако тя беше предложена на Мухаммад, това не би оправдало брака по никакъв начин.

Абу Бакр е бил Първият Халиф. Мухаммад се е оженил за Аиша, за да „циментира отношенията в зараждащата се нация“

Абу Бакр вече бил най-близкият сподвижник на Миухаммад. Нямало е нужда Мухаммад да „циментира отношенията“ с Абу Бакр, като се жени за неговата 6-годишна дъщеря, с което завинаги да легитимира браковете с деца в исляма.

Освен това, ако това е била единствената причина за този брак, той просто е можел да се ожени за другата дъщеря на Абу Бакр – Асма бинт Абу Бакр, която е била доста по-голяма и все още неомъжена по онова време.

Аиша се е съгласила на този брак. Ако е бил сключен насила, тя щеше да напусне Мухаммад

В исляма мълчанието на девицата представлява нейното съгласие.[32][33] За останалите хора като нас, това не означава съгласие, а идеята, че желанието на едно дете да участва в сексуални действия с възрастен човек прави този акт морално оправдан, е отблъскваща. Това е извинение, което голям брой педофили използват, за да оправдаят поведението си.

Всъщност Аиша не се е съгласявала за брака си. Това точно е причината, поради която ислямските учени са „единодушни, че бащата може да омъжи своята невръстна дъщеря, без да се допита до нея“[34] Освен това „няма възрастово ограничение да бъдеш интимен със съпругата си, дори и ако тя е малолетна (не е достигнала пубертет)“, но „когато тя достигне пубертет, тя има правото да продължи или да прекрати брака“[35]

По въпроса за напускането: невръстните жертви на Уорън Джефс, полигамния лидер на секта, са били на 12 и 15 години, като и двете не са го напуснали. Те са „влезли в съюз с Джефс по собствено желание и не са участвали в съдебния процес срещу него“.[36] Независимо от подкрепата на жертвите си, той така или иначе си е бил педофил и осъден през 2011 г. за сексуална злоупотреба с деца.

Аиша е обичала Мухаммад и винаги е говорила с уважение за него. Дали един педофил би си заслужил подобна възхвала?

Ако прочетете разказите на Аиша, ще откриете, че тяхната природа и съдържание са често с пренебрежение към исляма и на моменти тя се подиграва и унижава своя съпруг. Това всъщност е една от причините, поради която шиитската секта поддържа едно много негативно мнение за нея.

Например тя казва, че Мухаммад е бил омагьосан, а черната магия се смята за дело на дявола.[37]Ето защо тя в крайна сметка тя заявява,[38] че той е бил под влиянието на дявола.[39] Също така тя създава впечатлението, че той е бил разсеян и непохватен, тя разкрива неща, които Мухаммад ѝ е казал в личен разговор и веднъж отбелязва с неприкрит сарказъм: „Имам чувството, че твоят Господ бърза да изпълни твоите искания и желания“.[40]

Връзката между Мухаммад и Аиша е била далече от идеалната. Веднъж Мухаммад я е ударил болезнено в гръдния кош,[41] той е позволил на Абу Бакр да я шамароса,[42] а Аиша дори е твърдяла, че не обича да се среща с него.[43]

Що се отнася до въпроса: Дали един педофил би си заслужил подобна възхавала? Отговорът е: Да. Жертвите на педофилия често защитават своите насилници. Всяка една възхвала по адрес на Мухаммад от Аиша може лесно да бъде обяснена със Стокхолмския синдром.[44]

Не е възможно Мухаммад да е бил педофил, той е правил секс също и със зрели жени

Според статистиката, предоставена ни от Mayo Clinic, 93% от хетеросексуалните мъже-педофили също така поддържат и отношения със зрели жени.[29]

От обща култура знаем, че след смъртта на Хадиджа, Аиша, която е била единствената булка-дете на Мухаммад, е била неговата любима съпруга,[45] , а според ислямското устно предание, Мухаммад е предпочитал млади девици пред „матроните",[46][47] имал е сексуални намерения поне към още едно бебе-момиченце,[48][49] и е пожелал да има принцеса-дете, която все още била кърмена.[50]

Едно 9-годишно момиче в Арабия от 7ми век по никакъв начин не може да се сравнява със „съвременна 20-годишна жена“. Тя си е била просто едно 9-годишно момиче.

В допълнение Мухаммад е живял до 63 години, Аиша до 66, Асма бинт Абу Бакр до 100, Хадиджа до 64, а Абу Бакр до 61. Да не би това да изглеждат като по-кратки животи?

Дори и днес в развитите страни, когато човек стигне до 60-годишна възраст бива считан за стар, а рядко хората достигат до 100-годишна възраст. Ако знаехте, че дъщеря ви ще умре като Аиша на 66 години, този факт щеше ли да ви подтикне да одобрите тя да прави секс на 9-годишна възраст с 54-годишен мъж?

The Jewish Talmud says sex with a little girl is permitted if she is three years of age

The claim that the Talmud says "Sexual intercourse with a little girl is permitted if she is three years of age," is an antisemitic myth. Yevamot 11b, the citation provided with this claim, has no relevant passage.

Whilst the language used is very crude, the discussion relates to the dowry for virgins and non-virgins. It has nothing to do with what acts are allowed, encouraged, forbidden, or discouraged. It is ironic that this passage has been manipulated from its original context of a financial discussion into one of a religious discussion. While there are numerous Talmudic passages of a religious nature, this one discusses dowries and not forbidden and permitted relations.[68]

Mary married 90-year-old Joseph when she was only 12, so Joseph was a pedophile too

Everyone who makes this claim, cite the same New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia page.[69] What they do not mention is that this page begins by warning readers, "the apocryphal literature is full of details, the non-admittance of these works into the Canon of the Sacred Books casts a strong suspicion upon their contents".[70]

According to Wikipedia, apocrypha is defined as "spurious", "of questionable authenticity", and "Christian texts that are not canonical."[71] Thus they can be considered as the Christian equivalent of da`if (weak) or maudu (fabricated) hadith.

Something that is non-canonical is not binding on a follower and can be ignored. There is no authoritative Christian text which state Mary's age. Claims about her age are, at best, educated guesses, but guesses none-the-less. Bukhari and Muslim, on the other hand, are canonical Islamic writings of the utmost religious authenticity, accepted by approximately 90 percent of the world's Muslims.

Even if we do accept this tu-quoque logical fallacy as a valid argument, there remains several problems. The first being the fact that the New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia page does not say Mary married Joseph when she was aged only 12.

What it actually says, after warning readers once again that the stories are "unreliable", is that Mary was 12 to 14 at the time of the choosing of candidates, and the Annunciation (the announcement by the angel Gabriel to the virgin called Mary, that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus)[72] took place two years later.[73] This would make Mary 14 to 16 at the time of her marriage, not 12, or 9, as was the case between Muhammad and Aisha. She would have been a teenager of child-bearing age, not a pre-pubescent pre-teen child.

Another problem is that the theological significance of Joseph and Muhammad to the Christian and Islamic faiths are incomparable (i.e. the logical fallacy of false equivalence). Unlike the Muslim view of Muhammad, Christians do not consider Joseph to be an uswa hasana (excellent model of conduct). Joseph's moral character holds no importance within Christian theology. He could have been insane and it would not matter to a Christian.

Then there is the fact that, according to both the Christian scriptures and the Islamic ones, Mary was a virgin when she conceived and gave birth to Jesus; therefore, her relationship with Joseph could not have been a sexual one until after Jesus' birth, making her possibly 17 years of age at the time the marriage was eventually consummated, if ever.

Indeed, the same New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia page continues the narrative of Joseph's life by stating both Mary and Joseph entered the marriage with the understanding that it was never to be consummated.[74]

Mary's Perpetual virginity, the belief that Mary remained a virgin her entire life, is an essential article of faith for the majority of the worlds Christians (including the Roman Catholic, Anglo-Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox Christians). It is even held by some Muslims.[75]

Finally, the most decisive argument against the claim that Joseph was a pedophile is the fact that the same non-canonical writings which are used to gather information on Joseph and Mary's age, also confirm Mary's status as "ever virgin" (in The History of Joseph the Carpenter, Jesus says on Joseph's death "my mother, virgin undefiled").[76]

Catholic & Eastern Churches believe pedophile Joseph is a Saint, that's the same as an Uswa Hasana in Islam

A saint and an uswa hasana are nothing alike. The entire Islamic faith, almost all of its laws, rituals, and moral principles, are defined by the uswa hasana's actions. A saint has no similar function in Christianity. Their actions do not determine Christian laws, rituals, or moral principles in any way. Joan of Arc and countless others are Catholic saints too, but that means very little to how one practices Christianity.

Muhammad is the central figure of Islam, Joseph is not the central figure of Christianity. Islam would not exist if Muslims decided Muhammad was immoral. On the other hand, for Christians of any stripe, Joseph is a "non entity" as far as its theology is concerned. The closest analogy to Muhammad and an uswa hasana in Christianity is the figure of Jesus, and very few non-Christians would argue that their view of Christians and Christianity would not improve if his followers behaved more like him.

In addition, it is the same Catholic and Eastern Churches which consider Joseph a saint, who also hold to the belief of Mary's perpetual virginity. Since Mary's ever-lasting virginity is an integral part or "pillar" of their faith, and most modern theologians think the Pope could reverse a sainthood without undermining the Church's doctrines,[77] it is not hard to imagine what would have become of Joseph's saint status if he did have intercourse with Mary.

Furthermore, as has already been stated in the previous section, Joseph cannot be labeled as a pedophile by anyone's standards because there is no authoritative, or even apocryphal, Christian text that state an adult Joseph had sex with a child Mary. Therefore, even if the status of saint was equivalent to that of an uswa hasana, it would not matter to a Christian or help Muslims in excusing the actions of Muhammad.

If Muhammad was a pedophile, then so is the Christian god for impregnating Mary

Ignoring the fact that a pedophile by its very definition means someone who is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children,[51] so a teenager of child-bearing age is not pre-pubescent, it has already been shown in a previous section that there is no authoritative Christian text which state Mary's age. Claims about her age are, at best, educated guesses, but guesses none-the-less.

Additionally, the apocryphal literature (the Christian equivalent of weak or fabricated hadith) used to gather information on Mary's possible age actually reveal she may have been 16 at the time of her marriage, not 12.

Even if we were to assume she was 12 at the time, there still remain several problems with this claim.

According to the Bible, Mary became with child by "the power of the Highest",[78] a phrase that does not, or does not necessarily, correspond to Mary being "impregnated."

Even if we do accept that the Christian god "impregnated" Mary, both Christians and Muslims believe God is omnipotent. Therefore sexual intercourse, something which would have to take place if we were to accept this claim, is not necessary in order to achieve this. For example, artificial insemination needs no sexual intercourse. If humans can create a method to impregnate people without the need for sexual intercourse, why can an omnipotent deity not do the same? Of course, from an omnipotent entity, this would not need to be a physical procedure, nor would there be a need for the hymen to be torn.

Muslims also believe in the virgin birth. So, if Muslims insist the Christian god must have had sex with Mary in order to have a son, it is tantamount to an admission that, according to Islam, Allah must have also had sex with Mary in order for her to conceive Jesus.

In short; the Christian text do not mention anything of a sexual nature, i.e. there was no penis or any other indicator suggesting a sexual experience. Clearly, if there was no physical contact involved, then there was no sexual contact. Without this much needed sexual contact, there is no pedophilia.

Conversely, the Qur'an explicitly tells us Allah (or Gabriel if we refer to the tafsir text) blew into Mary's vagina in order for her to conceive Jesus.

Americans and Europeans both considered child marriages to be acceptable

Yes, that is correct. But note the past tense. They considered, not consider. Marriage to young girls was previously seen as normal, and yet most Americans and Europeans today, both religious and secular, find child marriages to be repulsive. Could this be because they have no uswa hasana (an excellent model of conduct) who married and had sex with a child?

This would explain why there is not a single mainstream Christian who argues in favor of child-marriages on the basis that "Saint Joseph (allegedly) did it 2000 years ago", "King Richard II did it 600 years ago"[79] or that banning it would be "un-Christian". Whilst the majority of mainstream Muslim scholars argue in favor of child-marriages on the basis that "Prophet Muhammad did it 1400 years ago",[4][5][6][7][8] "the Prophet's Companions did it"[80] or that banning it would be "un-Islamic".[7][63][64][65] In some cases, Muhammad and Aisha's relationship has even been used to effectively "turn back the clock" by legalizing child marriages in places today where they were previously illegal.[66]

Man-made laws have evidently evolved with our morality, whilst Shari'ah (consisting of the Qur'an and Sunnah) are seen as Allah's unalterable holy law. To attempt to change it would be considered blasphemous, as it constitutes Bid'ah, something which was forbidden by Muhammad himself.[81][82] What can be altered is Islamic jurisprudence, but as that is extracted from, and cannot contradict,[83][84] Shari'ah, the results tend to remain unacceptable to the modern world. The world has moved on, but Islam mostly has not.

Even today, there are states in America that allow girls to get married at 15, 14 or even 13

The age of marriage in the US varies by State, but is generally 18 (with two exceptions where the minimum age is actually higher).[85] Most states, however, allow minors below 18 to marry (generally at 16 but sometimes lower) with parental and/or judicial consent.

These early marriage laws are for teenagers who fall in love, may or may not have gotten pregnant, and wish to get married. They do not allow pedophiles to indulge in their sexual fantasies.

Using the State of Texas as an example; the age of marriage is 18, but with parental or judicial consent it is lowered to 14. Likewise, the age of consent is 18. However, when a girl is under the age of 17, her sexual partner can be no more than 3 years older, and it must be proven that there was no duress, i.e. there was understood consent between the couple.[86] So a 14 year-old can have sex with a 17 year-old with consent, but not with an 18 year-old. The 18 year-old would be a sex offender guilty of statutory rape.

If contemporary American laws are applied to a 54 year-old Muhammad, this would mean any attempts by him to marry a minor in any State would be denied by law, and an admission of sexual relations would result in him being charged with statutory rape and becoming a registered sex offender.

When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, "the Lord's brother"). A year after his wife's death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age. Joseph, who was at the time ninety years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph, and two years later the Annunciation took place. Omar got married to her while she was young before reaching the age of puberty. This is reported by Ibn Saad in 'Al-Tabaqat'. 2. From Urwa Ibn Zubair: that Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, married his daughter when she was very young. Reported by Saeed Ibn Mansour, in his Sunnah, and Ibn Abi Shaibah, in Al-musannaf, with a Sahih chain of narration.
